About Me
Bednark Studio partnered with Nike to build & install the Nike 50th Celebration at the NYC House of Innovation. The 50th Anniversary display & event spanned the summer of 2022. The display combined samples & archive pieces from the Department of Nike Archives (D.N.A) and blended them with new objets d'art from local artists & creators inspired by the brand. The highlight of the event was the ‘Future 50’ series, that brought together local artists such as Original Rose, Mark Sabino, Studio Guapo, and Andy Martinez, to lead workshops & makers courses inspired by Nike’s 50 years of innovation, style, & athletics. Each of these creatives crafted a series of bespoke, one-of-a-kind items inspired by their love of Nike.
